The applicant (LINZ) has requested that limited notification to relevant iwi and hapu be undertaken by Waikato Regional Council as part of the post treaty Deed of Settlement process.
About the proposal
Land Information New Zealand – Toitu Te Whenua (LINZ) has lodged an application with Waikato Regional Council to undertake activities associated with land remediation and a landfill upgrade at the former Tokanui Psychiatric Hospital site. Relevant applications have been lodged with Waipā District Council.
