Matamata-Piako District Council has lodged an application with Waikato Regional Council to renew Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) consents in the Matamata District.

Resource consent application and assessment of environmental effects (AEE)

How to make a submission 

Any person may make a submission on the above applications, but a person who is a trade competitor of the applicant may do so only if that person is directly affected by an effect of the activity to which the application relates that:

  1. adversely affects the environment; and
  2. does not relate to trade competition or the effects of trade competition.

You may make a submission by sending a written submission to Waikato Regional Council, Private Bag 3038, Waikato Mail Centre, Hamilton 3240 or electronically to RCsubmissions@waikatoregion.govt.nz.

The submission must be on form 13. Copies of this form are available from Waikato Regional Council on our website.

Submissions close Wednesday 16th October 2024.
