About the proposal

Waipā District Council has lodged an application with Waikato Regional Council to divert and discharge stormwater onto and into land in circumstances where it may enter groundwater, and to surface water, from Waipā District Council’s urban stormwater networks. These are existing activities and the application is for replacement resource consents.

Consent applications APP144727, APP144733, APP144736, APP144738, APP144740 and APP144742 were lodged with Waikato Regional Council on 22 July 2022.

The comprehensive application includes an assessment of environmental effects. Activities are as follows:
